These are accounts suspended by Twitter after Alexander’s management got involved:
09/13/10 Update: The twitter account for a_skarsgard is not Alexander, just a fake. It’s someone pretending to be the actor. Likely it will be removed soon. Alexander’s management keeps a close eye on posers wanting to pretend to be him on Twitter. Sorry.
Sorry to say, Alex is NOT on Twitter. As Alex’s popularity has grown, many posers have surfaced. The above accounts show a list of defunked posers that is growing. I’ve seen many of these people, even a few small fan sites, using Alex’s name or a variation only to be deleted or suspended a few months later.
What about the Posers?
Alex has had many people pretend to be him on Twitter, and that’s to be expected with his popularity increasing every time a new episode of True Blood (or Season for that matter) airs on HBO. Almost every month we see a new poser, pretending to be Alex and confusing his loyal fans. It’s sad to see. And we try to let Twitter know about the fakes when we see them. Alex’s management works at keeping these varietyof posers off the main gride and have had their accounts suspended many times now.
It helps if fans of Alexander speak up too. If you suspect someone of posing as Alexander Skarsgard on Twitter, please block them. Also go to twitter.com/blocksunday for updates. Click http://twitter.zendesk.com/requests/new to submit a request.
