Alexander Skarsgard
Alexander Johan Hjalmar Skarsgård was born August 25, 1976. Alexander is an actor and director. He is the son of Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgård. As of 2008, he is currently a part of the ensemble cast of HBO’s True Blood, a TV series from Six Feet Under creator, Alan Ball. Alexander plays the Role of Eric Northman, a 1000 year old Viking vampire, and owner of “Fangtasia” – the fictional vampire bar in Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse Vampire Series.
Alexander has acted in several Swedish TV series and movies. In 2003, he was nominated for a Guldbagge for male supporting role in the movie Hundtricket – The movie.
Since 2005, with his performances in Revelations and The Last Drop he has taken part in international productions. In 2007, he played one of the main characters in the American miniseries Generation Kill.

Eric Northman is a fictional character in The Southern Vampire Mysteries, a series of nine books written by New York Times bestselling author Charlaine Harris.
He is a vampire and is first introduced in the first novel, Dead Until Dark and appears in all subsequent novels. HBO‘s television series True Blood is based on this book series and the character of Eric Northman is portrayed somewhat differently.

I spotted this site by surprise and its a good collection of recent works of Alex S. If there is a way that you can add his works in Sweden, its much appreciated. I did research on some short films one time and saw his work on child safety and it was quite moving.

I am not that into movies and tv programmes, but I am completely hooked
in True Blood.
I think that the cast is perfect, no one else would be able to replace the any
of the characters.
I love ‘Eric’ his role is very misterious and dark, yet you want to see more?
Alexander is perfect for this role – I think he is just gorgeos!
I wish him all the best in all future ventures.
