Season 4: Eric is Dazed and Confused

March 5th, Alexander Skarsgard attended PaleyFest 2011 Presents True Blood at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California.

Alex joined in a panel with co-stars Anna Paquin and her husband Stephen Moyer, along with True Blood creator Alan Ball, and other of the cast members of True Blood. The panel included a crowded amount with 17 members in attendance. Alan Ball, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgård, Carrie Preston, Chris Bauer, Deborah Ann Woll, Jim Parrack, Joe Manganiello, Kevin Alejandro, Kristin Bauer, Marschall Allman, Nelsan Ellis, Rutina Wesley, Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell and Todd Lowe.

Rumors are flying around that in Season 4 Alan Ball may return to plot lines within the Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse books. Any and every fan of Alexander (Eric Northman) are keeping their fingers crossed.

During the panel, Alex confirmed that Eric will have amnesia. Fans may assume the story line will start up with Dead to the World (Book 4) and possibly have aspects from that book. How close it will lend to the book? We’ll have to wait and see when True Blood, Season 4 starts June 12th. 

“Things are definitely not stable for Eric,” Alexander said about his character’s upcoming storyline. “He doesn’t know who he is anymore. He’s very lost.”

To answer an ongoing question many Eric Northman fans have,  Will Sookie and Eric get together this season? Anna Paquin did her best to deflect the question of whether Sookie will act on her attraction to Eric next season, and Alex mouthed, “It happens.” So we shall see just how that plays out! Is it June yet?!

Alexander and “Kon-Tiki”

Speculation have been in high debate over the Internet since Alexander was snapped by the paparazzi reading a script entitled Kon-Tiki. (See January Photos)

Here’s more info on Kon-Tiki from Skarsgårdnews.com:

“Alex has been offered the part already, but, as some news sites are reporting, he has not said yes to it yet. (He’s just now reading the script!) So, for right now, it’s just marked as a possible project.”

Oh, and on a happy side note Skarsgardnews.com also reports: “Alex will be doing talk shows for the premiere of season 4 of True Blood! No details yet on which ones, but as I reported previously, they all want him on their shows!”

Alexander on playing Brad (Generation Kill) and Eric (True Blood) – “I can definitely relate to them. But I’m different in real life. They’re subdued and calm; I’m more playful. I’m pretty intense when it comes to relationships, platonic ones as well. If I feel a connection with someone, I’m willing to go there.”

A few months ago, I was lucky enough to get a word published in the UrbanDictionary.com. I had looked up Skarstarved and wrote an article, “Are We Skarstarved“ on it. Then I decided I would try to write a definition too. Skarsgarding got submitted and accepted, and the rest is history. Since then a few of our moderators in the AS Fan Blog have submitted words and have gotten those published too. We are writing our on ASkars dictionary. Well, not really. Alexander Skarsgard’s tattoo

Alexander Skargard has a tattoo of a little green bird on his left leg, that his younger brother Valter drew when he was 7. Apparently when shown, Valter wasn’t too impressed, but his mother thought it was beautiful.

AS: “My youngest brother Valter drew a green bird on my leg when he was seven years old. I took a picture of it and got it tattooed. Then when I wanted to show it, it was maybe two years later, I had worked up such… I mean it’s a big thing, to tattoo a beautiful picture that your brother drew as a child, so I thought he’d be delighted as hell. But he was like: ‘What’s that? Why did you do it? What, did I draw that? Wanna eat pancakes now?’ Haha! Then again he was only nine.”

Today, Oct. 14th we reached 5,000 Alex fans in the AS FanBlog (on Facebook) so we are expanding the Fan Blog. If you go to our current Alexander Skarsgard FanBlog page on Facebook and send us a friend request, we unfortunately can not accept it since we are maxed out at 5,000.

When I created the FanBlog last year, I made it as a friend profile and at that time, I didn’t realize that the max of friends I could have was 5,000.
